ABOUT INDEE MOSS
Indee Moss is an American contemporary realist painter based in Iowa. Specializing in botanical subjects and still life, her work bridges the precision of scientific observation with the quiet elegance of fine art.
Indee currently works in oils, pastels, watercolor, and classical drawing media. She places her detailed subjects against solid, minimalist backgrounds. This approach strips away distraction, directing focus entirely onto light, form, and texture. Holding a PhD in chemistry, Indee approaches her practice through the lens of rigorous scientific observation, meticulous study, and anatomical accuracy—guided by a deep reverence for the natural world.
